Problem Statement
A leading Business house in India venturing into automotive / E V segment was looking for a robust ERP solution to manage their operations with high levels of automated production and logistics processes. They were in pursuit of a best in class solution which would ensure efficiency and accuracy in their supply chain processes and adherence to automotive industry standards like MMOG/LE.
The Challenge
The company had determined that the core model solution followed in their traditional business lines is not adaptable in the new automotive unit. As a new entrant in electric automotive manufacturing segment, the organization wanted to follow a new core model and ERP solution which can help them follow industry best practices thus making themselves ready for a go-to-market stage in a very short time frame. They had a mandate to integrate their operations ERP data with their corporate management, financials and reporting platform maintained in Oracle EBS.
Solution
We implemented the QAD OOTB Core model solution for Automotive Suppliers at this green field implementation site enabling their O2C, P2P, PL2P processes in QAD AERP 2023. Our implementation also covered Automation Solutions for bar-code-based material movements and tracking across the logistics functions and automation of Production Reporting directly from Work Centres/Machines through PLC integration.

Our solution using Boomi as middleware platform integrates data seamlessly between QAD & Oracle ERP systems, ensuring master data synchronization from Oracle EBS to QAD AERP 2023 and reverse synchronization of transactional data. This integration supports real-time data access and enhances the overall efficiency of operational & financial data recording.
The Adaptive ERP and Boomi application have been hosted in QAD Cloud thus adding in steady availability, best in class security standards and all-time availability of services.
